Filmed before a standing-room-only audience, this presentation features Michael Crichton and three other scientists as they discuss the increasing politicization of science and focus on the ways media, politics, and science intersect to create public fear about topics such as global warming and biotechnology.

Author Biography

Michael Crichton is the author of The Andromeda Strain, Congo, and Jurassic Park, and is a former fellow at the Salk Institute for Biological Sciences. He lives in Los Angeles.
